Guess where I'm moving to...?

If you follow me on Twitter then I'm sure that this post needs no introduction, so I'll get straight to it. I'm moving to Paris! I've had a few questions on Twitter about the hows and the whys, so I thought that I would put together a little post to explain it all to you.

At the moment I am sitting my final exams for my second year at uni studying French & Italian. As a languages student, I'm lucky enough to get to spend the third year of my degree living in a country that speaks the language that I am studying. And yes, since I study two languages that does mean I get to split my year living in two countries. I have decided that I want to spend my time in France working in the big city, so as of June 16th until December I will be working in a PR company in the centre of Paris.

This means that I am going to be living, eating and breathing Paris for six whole months and I want to take you guys on the journey with me! I have decided to make a 'Moving to Paris' series which will document my time away from my pre-Paris jitters, to moving in and starting my job etc. I really want to cover as much as possible both on my blog and my YouTube channel to show you guys what it's really like (through the highs and the lows), and hopefully help some of you out who might be in a similar situation yourselves.

This is a huge life change for me, but I'm really excited. I'm especially excited to be sharing all of this with you! If you have any suggestions of topics for me to cover, or any questions that you would like answered in the series then please leave me a comment below. I can't wait to see what you guys think of the series!

Have you ever been to Paris?
Do you have any tips for me before I go?

P.S. Did you enjoy this post? If I'd love it if you would consider nominating my blog as Best New Beauty Blog in the Cosmo Blog Awards. It'll only take you a minute! (Read more here)

I lived in Paris most of my childhood - you're gonna love it! :) I'd definitely recommend making French friends as soon as you can, they'll know all the cool non-touristy spots!

How exciting! I just came back from my year abroad in France, not in Paris, but near enough that I visited a lot and I really love it there. I would say the year abroad can be hard sometimes, but go with an open mind & get involved with stuff and I think you'll really enjoy it :)

Good luck!

Oooh this sounds amazing! I studied French for my first two year at uni and still love it, I just really didn't like the lectures, they were so boring and such dated subjects. Danielle xx
