Oops! Boots Haul

It's no secret that my will power is not superb at the best of times, but usually it falters in drips and drabs. Only once in a blue moon do I shirk any sort of responsible attitude toward money and go on a mad one. My last day in Bristol of the Easter term just happened to be one of those days. I had been fairly good throughout the term and had budgeted harder than I ever have before, but I think I'd just had enough. The sun was out, and so was my purse!

This spree had just one stop: and that was Boots. In my defense I had wanted Essie's Fiji and Cute as a Button since last year. Fiji is a pastel pink that I thought would not only be ideal for Spring, but whenever you need a chic shade that goes with any outfit. Cute as a Button on the other hand is a bright, coral shade; perfect for poolside fingers and toes. I purchased Bourjois' One Second Polish in this bright aqua blue shade (I don't think that it has a name) for the same reason. When it's sunny outside, bright nails are my best friend.

I've always said that I'd try a few more Bourjois products if I ever splashed out, so that's exactly what I did. I'd heard that the Bourjois Bronzing Primer was a cheaper version of Chanel Tan de Soleil, so I can't wait to see how it works both as a primer and cream contour product. The Blush Exclusif was a product that I hadn't read too much about, but drew me in due to its promise of a product that changes colour according to what suits each person's skin tone best. You can certainly expect a review of this soon! Finally, I swatched the Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick on my way to the counter and was reluctant to leave without it! If you remember my 17 Lip Crayon review then you'll know that I was keen to try more from the brand, and the warm glow of this really reminded me of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. Let me know if you would like to see a review of this, too.

Well, my purse may be a lot lighter, but my blogging inspiration is flowing more than ever. I just hope that I still manage to make time for it with the run up to exams!

Which product do you like the look of best?
