NOTD: 'Whitehall' Magnetic Polish by Nails Inc

I thought that I'd do a quick post today to show you a new addition to my nail polish collection. I picked up the Nails Inc Magnetic Polish in Whitehall from Sephora when I was visiting Florida earlier this year. I really don't know why this shade is called Whitehall, because it's actually a beautiful, deep green colour with a slight hint of blue. If you're not familiar with magnetic polishes, the idea is that you apply two coats, and on the second coat you immediately hold a magnet (this one has one in the lid) over your nail which, thanks to the formula of the polish, creates a pretty pattern on your nails!

I'm so, so pleased with this product. I haven't really been able to create much of a different pattern than the one shown in the pictures above, but I really don't mind because I think that it looks so pretty and interesting! It's super glossy and I always seem to have forgotten just how much I like it every time I put it on. Having said this, I think that the effect can sometimes look a little too much on all of my nails, so I've also been using it as an accent nail with my other nails painted plain black or white. The lasting power of this is pretty good too, and I've never had a problem with it being sheer or streaky. To be honest, I would even consider wearing this without magnetising the nails - without it it has a cool, metallic finish! My only criticism would be that it can be tricky to position the magnet without ruining your nails. Oh, and the pretty hefty £13 price tag.

Overall I would definitely recommend picking one of these up if you can catch them at a reduced price. They'll be perfect to wear over autumn as well as Christmas, and I'm kind of sad that I didn't pick up more colours when they were on sale!
